Developed anisotropic THz near field microscopy techniques to measure intramolecular vibrations of proteins, particularly photoactive yellow protein, orange carotenoid protein and FMO.

Developed and fabricated optoelectronic semiconductor devices based on 2DEG, quantum-wells/dots, and 2D layered materials for IR and/or THz photoconductive detector. Tested device performance by optimizing electric/optical characterizations including gate control and pump-probe UV/vis/THz spectroscopy.
