Crystallized various proteins to use for protein dynamics measurements using THz microscopy and analyzed corresponding data using Igor Pro and Excel. Performed expected calculations using CHARMM and Amber molecular dynamic software.

Molecular Dynamics Calculations. Used the programming tools Prody, Pymol and Python to model protein crystal structure. These were used to predict the structure and compare the analysis to crystals measured using THz Spectroscopy

My research involved protein resilience and fluorescent protein resistance to photobleaching, and the correlated protein motion measurements of dihydrofolate reductase crystals.

Protein Correlation Modes Measured using THz Microscopy: Using a THz microscope I measured the large-scale vibrational modes of protein crystal samples. Specifically, I am studied how these modes change with binding and how those changes are related to function. Graduate student research in terahertz optical spectroscopy. Developing and improving optical measurement techniques, specifically terahertz microscopy, of protein vibrations. Performed simulations to model expected experimental results.
