- Turn on the nanodrop. The switch is in the back.
- Set nanodrop to OD600
- Lift the arm of the nanodrop. Figure 5a.
- Insert a cuvette containing sterile LB media, and lower the arm.
- Click the blank button.
- Remove the blank cuvette and insert the cuvette to be measured.
- Click the measure button.
- Record the OD600.
